Google OAuth for the FoxPay App

This page publicly explains, without requiring sign-in, why the FoxPay App offers Google Login and which Google user data is processed.

What is the FoxPay App?

The FoxPay App is the merchant dashboard for FoxPay. Merchants use it to manage their account, integrations, payment features, and onboarding settings.

Why Google Login?

Google Login is an optional sign-in method for merchants. Merchants can use it to create a FoxPay account or log in without managing a separate FoxPay password.

Requested Google data

For merchant login, FoxPay uses only standard sign-in permissions:

  • openid - technical sign-in and unique Google account ID
  • email - email address and verification status for account matching
  • profile - basic profile such as name and profile picture, where provided by Google

How we use the data

  • Authenticating the merchant in the FoxPay App
  • Linking the Google account to a FoxPay merchant account
  • Security and abuse prevention during the login process

What we do not do

  • We do not sell Google user data.
  • We do not use Google user data for advertising, retargeting, credit-worthiness checks, or lending decisions.
  • We do not use Google user data for AI training or to build independent databases.

Retention and deletion

Google profile and email data remains stored in the FoxPay account only for as long as it is needed for login, account administration, security, or legal obligations. Users can request deletion through the data deletion page or by emailing info@foxpay.it.
