JTL merchants do not need another isolated payment link. They need a flow that belongs to the shop and the order. When payments start outside JTL, statuses require manual checks, or orders need after-the-fact reconciliation, friction shows up in support, accounting, and every unclear payment.

The FoxPay JTL plugin is now in beta. This starts the validation of a native route for JTL-Shop merchants: initiate payment from checkout, return status securely, and update the order in a traceable way.

The problems a JTL payment plugin needs to solve

The hardest part is not the first redirect. What happens next matters: Did the payment arrive? Was the right order updated? Can support understand the status? Does the process remain traceable when a response is delayed? A useful JTL payment plugin connects these steps instead of merely adding a button.

FoxPay focuses on three merchant pains: the payment must start from the actual basket, the return path into JTL-Shop must be reliable, and the merchant needs a status the team can act on. The beta tests these flows against real store configurations.

Why we deliberately call it beta

Beta is not a marketing label for a finished mass rollout. The plugin exists and the core payment and status paths are in place. Selected merchants can test them while we learn how JTL versions, hosting, extensions, and individual order processes behave in practice.

Beta partners work closely with FoxPay. We clarify setup and merchant fit together, support the connection, and gather feedback where it matters: checkout, order status, and day-to-day operations.

Who should join the JTL plugin beta?

The beta is aimed at JTL-Shop merchants looking for an additional payment method, selling regulated or demanding products, or spending too much time correcting payment processes manually. The strongest partners are ready to test their real workflow and can point to where status, reconciliation, or customer communication costs time today.

JTL agencies and implementation partners are welcome too. Technical partners often identify integration risk earlier than the merchant and can help validate the beta across different setups.
