PayPal is a payment method many buyers actively look for at checkout. For merchants, adding it means more than another wallet button: seller onboarding, permissions, payment status, refunds, and support must work as one process. When these pieces live in separate systems, operational effort grows exactly where checkout is supposed to become simpler.
FoxPay has therefore started integrating PayPal as a payment method. We are implementing the PayPal Connected Path as the technical delivery path within the FoxPay platform and target launch in Q3 2026. PayPal is not generally available as a live FoxPay payment method today. Integration start and launch are two distinct milestones.

Why PayPal matters to FoxPay merchants
Merchants lose revenue not only when a payment technically fails. They also lose buyers when an expected method is missing or the checkout lacks trust. PayPal can close that gap for audiences that prefer to pay with their wallet and do not want to enter payment details in every store.
For FoxPay, the new payment method is also an important step toward broader method coverage. Merchants should be able to choose payment routes that fit their industry, audience, and risk. Open Banking, QR Pay, store plugins, and wallets solve different situations. PayPal adds to that mix as a controlled payment route inside the platform, not as an isolated button.
Pain points the new payment method addresses
A merchant connection instead of another tool silo
The merchant should connect PayPal in the context of the FoxPay store and understand the approval state. This reduces context switching and makes it clearer which method is ready for which store.
One view across payments and refunds
A PayPal payment does not end at purchase. Merchants need understandable statuses, correctly associated payments, and a clean refund flow. These operational steps are part of the planned feature set.
Reliable events for support and orders
Payment events can arrive concurrently or later. The merchant only cares that the right status reaches the right transaction. The current integration phase therefore includes making event and association flows reliable before launch.

What merchants can do now
Merchants planning PayPal for their FoxPay store can already discuss the requirement with us. Useful context includes the shop platform, target markets, average basket, and the role PayPal plays in the current checkout. This helps us align launch communication and rollout with real merchant needs.
Until general availability, we will keep the maturity language precise: integration started, core paths implemented, reliability work and validation in progress, Q3 launch planned.
